Our Sun Visor

Install the Optional Sun Visor

Identify Attachment Points

  • Locate the designated attachment points on the display unit for installing the sun visor.

Align & Secure Sun Visor

  • Position the sun visor over the display unit, aligning it with the attachment points.
  • Use the provided screws or fasteners to secure the sun visor to the display unit.
  • Tighten the screws or fasteners securely to ensure the sun visor is firmly attached.

Assemble the Rear Bracket

Align Bracket Components

  • Lay out the rear bracket components on a flat surface.
  • Align the mounting holes on the bracket pieces to ensure they fit together properly.

Attach Bracket Sections

  • Securely attach the rear bracket sections using the provided screws and tools.
  • Tighten the screws firmly to ensure the bracket is sturdy and stable.

Install a Micro SD Card

Locate SD Card Slot

  • Find the Micro SD card slot on your device. Located on the bottom of your vision ride pro.

Prepare Micro SD Card (Not Included)

  • Ensure the Micro SD card is compatible with your device and has sufficient storage capacity.

Insert Micro SD Card

  • Carefully insert the Micro SD card into the designated slot on your device.

Secure Micro SD Card

  • Gently push the Micro SD card into the slot until it clicks into place.
  • Ensure the card is securely seated in the slot to prevent it from dislodging during use.
  • Tighten screws down

Camera Mounts

Assemble Camera Mounts

Install Camera Bracket

  • Position the camera bracket over the mounting plates, aligning it with the attachment points.

Secure Camera Bracket

  • Use the provided screws or fasteners to secure the camera bracket to the mounting plates.
  • Tighten the screws or fasteners securely to ensure the camera bracket is firmly attached.

Adjust Camera Angle

  • Adjust the angle of the camera bracket to your desired position for optimal visibility and coverage.

 

Power

Connect to Power Source

Locate Your Motorcycle’s Power Source

  • Identify a 12V power source on your bike.
  • The best option is the ignition wire, which provides power only when the bike is on.

Prepare the Wiring

  • The Vision Ride Pro comes with a waterproof power box that connects to your motorcycle’s electrical system.
  • Ensure your bike is turned off before proceeding.

Connecting to the Ignition Wire (Recommended)

  • Use a fuse tap or wire splicer to connect the red power wire from the Vision Ride Pro to your bike’s ignition wire.
  • Connect the black ground wire to a solid metal part of the frame or battery ground.

 Alternative: Direct to Battery (Manual Power On/Off)

  • If you prefer, you can connect the red wire to the positive battery terminal and the black wire to the negative terminal.
  • This will require you to manually turn the Vision Ride Pro on and off.

Secure the Wiring

  • Use zip ties or cable organizers to neatly route and secure the wires along the frame.

Test the Connection

  • Turn on your motorcycle to confirm that the Vision Ride Pro powers up automatically.

Installing the Kit on Your Bike

Mount the Display

Choose Mounting Location

  • Decide on the optimal location for mounting the display on your motorcycle's handlebars.
  • Consider factors such as visibility, accessibility, and clearance from other components.

Prepare Handlebars

  • Ensure the handlebars are clean and free from any dirt, debris, or residue.
  • Wipe down the mounting area with a clean, dry cloth to remove any dust or grime.

Attach Mounting Bracket & Postion Display

  • Securely attach the mounting bracket to the chosen location on the handlebars using the provided hardware.
  • Position the display unit onto the mounting bracket, aligning it with the attachment points.

Secure Display

  • Use the provided screws and fasteners to secure the display to the mounting bracket.
  • Tighten the screws or fasteners securely to prevent any movement or instability.

Accessory

Connecting to Accessory Port
  • If utilizing an accessory port, locate the port on your motorcycle and ensure it provides the necessary voltage and current for your MotoFrontier product.
  • Plug the power cable from your MotoFrontier product into the accessory port, ensuring a snug fit.

 

Battery

Connecting to Battery Terminals
  • If connecting directly to the battery terminals, identify the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals.
  • Use appropriate connectors to attach the power cables from your MotoFrontier product to the corresponding battery terminals.

Camera

Camera Installation
  • Choose a suitable location for mounting the front camera, such as the handlebars or fairing.
  • Securely mount the front camera using the provided mounting hardware, adhesive stickers, or zip ties.
  • Ensure the camera is positioned securely and aligned properly for optimal view coverage.

Connect Camera Wires

  • Connect the Yellow tipped wiring harnesses from the front and rear cameras to the corresponding ports on your Vision Ride Pro unit.
  • Ensure the connections are secure and properly tighten to prevent water damage or electrical issues.

Power On & Display OS

Turn on Power

  • Locate the power button on your MotoFrontier display unit.
  • Press and hold the power button until the display screen lights up.
  • IF you Unit is Powered by accessory it will power on when you turn on your motorcycle.

Manage Wiring

Test Camera Functionality

  • Turn on your motorcycle and power up your Vision Ride Pro unit.
  • Verify that both front and rear cameras are functioning correctly and providing clear images on the display screen.
  • Adjust camera angles if necessary to improve visibility or coverage.

Secure Wiring

  • Route the camera wiring along existing wire harnesses or frame members to keep them tidy and organized.
  • Use zip ties or cable clamps to secure the wiring and prevent it from coming loose or getting tangled.

Tires

Tire Pressure Monitor 
Set Up

Install Sensors

  • Remove the valve caps from the tire valves on each wheel.
  • Install the tire pressure sensors onto the tire valves and tighten them securely.

Pair Sensors with Display Unit

  • Turn on theVision Ride Pro unit and navigate to the tire pressure monitoring system menu.
  • Follow the on-screen instructions to pair each sensor with the display unit.

Tire Pressure Monitor Calibration

Set Thresholds

  • Set the desired tire pressure thresholds for each tire.
  • These thresholds will trigger alerts if tire pressure falls below or exceeds the specified range.

Calibrate Sensors

  • Tire pressure monitoring systems require calibration for accurate readings so Drive your motorcycle around for 5 mins and the sensors will be calibrated and readings will show up on your display.

 

Camera System and Views

Explore front and back camera views, adjust settings, and familiarize yourself with the DVR options.

Phone Connectivity (bluetooth)

Connect your smartphone for AirPlay or Android Auto functionality to access navigation, music, and other features.

 

Turn on Bluetooth

  • Access the Bluetooth settings on your smartphone turn on bluetooth.

Enable Pairing Mode on Vision Ride Pro

  • Navigate to the Bluetooth settings menu on the Vision Ride Pro display.
  • Enable Bluetooth pairing mode, typically found in the settings or connectivity menu.

Phone Connectivity (Pairing)

Step 4: Accept Pairing Request

  • On the MotoFrontier display, accept the pairing request from your smartphone.
  • Confirm the pairing code, if prompted, to complete the pairing process.

Accessory Connectivity

  • Pair the display unit with your helmet, headset, or external speakers via Bluetooth for audio playback and communication.
